TEACHERS OF DEAF CHILDREN

Teachers of the Deaf are often confronted with students who avoid all forms of written communication.  As a teaching tool with a dominant visual componant, ASL Tales encourages active participation in reading and the production of written English. Coupling the written story with its visual counterpart allowes for a greater understanding of the story being told. ASL Tales presents a highly motivating and familiar model for writing English.
